Question: Hi,
My wife is in her first trimester of pregnance.About a month left to end first trimester. I asked my doctor if I can have sex with my wife to which they said No in the first and last trimester. They said it is ok in the second trimester but that too once in 15 days.I wanted to ask can I atleast kiss my wife nipples and lips at this stage or that also is not allowed? Secondly I heared if i kiss my wife nipples in third trimester, it induces labour? Is this true? Can I do a bit of breastfeeding after her pregnancy?

Brief Answer:
You can do lip kissing but avoid too much orgasms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
As your doctor advised not to involved in sexual relationships that means there is some problem.
Because in normal healthy pregnancy you can do safe sex with some precautions but yes orgasms and arousal should be avoided because it will harm your baby.
Yes you can kiss your wife and nipple stimulation can be done but there should not be any cramps.
Yes it is true that nipple stimulation during third trimester can cause uterine contraction and preterm labour.
Yes you can do some breastfeeding after delivery but hygiene should be maintained.
Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more questions.
Good luck.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Well there is no problem as such in the pregnancy.I had casually asked the doctor to which she promptly said to do in second trimester. Is it ok to do without condom in second trimester?

My wife has been given some hormone increasing tablets to be consumed through vagina. What are these tablets?Due to these tablets my wife says she has white discharge.

My wife had observed a bit bleeding few days before. But now she is perfectly alright. Is a bit bleeding normal in first trimester?
