In Cold and moist climate it spreads fast.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Greeting from Dr. Divakara.P
First of all thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic for posting your query.

In both climate the virus can live but it spreads fast if temperature is low.

Regarding Vaccination not all persons are advisable to take Vaccines . Persons who are at high risk of getting exposed like Healthcare workers, People working in Airports , Crowded Areas, Attenders of people infected with Swine Flu, Very Old People , People with Lung problem or heart Problem etc.

As of effectiveness is concerned it is not 100% protective as it is prepared from the Virus of previous year and this year's virus could be slightly different from that of last years.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask .

Answered by Dr. Divakara (53 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Throat is severely congested.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Saw your pics. Your Throat is very strongly infected . You require a antibiotic course for the throat infection.

I would recommend you to get a prescription of Clarithromycin Antibiotic from your doctor and use it .

Do salt water gargling, drink hot water, Avoid Non veg and oily food . Avoid Citrus Fruits.

If soreness persists inspite of completing antibiotic course then you can get test for Swine flu.

Hope this information was useful to you.
