Brief Answer:
yes give it without skin

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
You can give mashed boiled apple.
No problem. I usually advice my patients to boil in cooker and then scoop the contents out. It is better to avoid the skin as many apples have a wax coating to keep them attractive.
It is very good weaning food and most of the babies love it.
Even one per day is fine and will give good amount of vitamins and minerals and fibre.
Let me know if you need further information
Wishing your child good health.
