Question : I need to know if I can take benedryl with the prescriptions I am taking. Meds I am on are lexapro, hctz, tylenol 3, diclofenac, gabapentin, d2 1000, baby aspirin.

Yes you can take Benadryl with medicines that already taking and there are not any significant interaction or side effects among these. At this point however in some individuals Lexapro as well as Gabapentin cause drowsiness which may increase after taking Benadryl. Therefore I would suggest my patients to avoid driving while on Lexapro , Gabapentin and Benadryl.
