Question : Hello Doctor, my daughter 28 years old, height 163 cm, weight 60 kg attends gym about 4-5 days a week and joins in half marathon whenever opportunity arises. But she does not practice running regularly but does the aerobics. Recently she feels pain in the outer sides of both knees, specially when she bends her knees. Our family physician suggesting CALCIROL XXXXXXX 60K unit, once a week for a month. Can she take that?

Pain at outer side of both knee could be due to vit d3 deficiency. She can take calcerol XXXXXXX as advised by her doctor.
