Question: Hello! I am currently taking 875 mg Amoxicillin Clavulanate Potassium orally twice a day for ten days for a sinus infection. It is my seventh day on the antibiotic and I have developed my first yeast infection. A doctor prescribed me Fluconazole to clear it up but told me I would have to wait until I finish my antibiotic. My pharmacist told me I could take it on the seventh day of my antibiotic. I was going to listen to the urgent care doctor I went to I can not stand this pain. Is it safe to take Fluconazole on the seventh day of taking Amoxicillin Clavulanate Potassium? What can I do to relieve the symptoms of the yeast infection?

The vulva area is swollen with the inside being red. I do not see any visable lesions. There is discharge that looks similar to cottage cheese. The intense itching started two days ago and comes in waves and burns occassionally. This causes issues with my sleeping schedule, the sensation will wake me up. IAlso, can I take the pill for the yeast infection with the antibotic before finishing my ten day amoxicillin?
