Question : Is it safe to take a beta blocker like metoprolol and smoke marijuanna? I have chronic nausea problems and wanted to try marijuanna as I have heard positive things. I take metoprolol for an occasional fast heartbeat but my heart is healthy.

There is almost no interaction between metoprolol and marijuana. It can be taken togather.
Rather it may be helpful. Marijuana increases your heart rate and a beta blocker can slow it down.

But check you blood pressure and pulse rate regularly. There may be occassional fluctuations.
