Question : Last night - 2:30 am -- I took a dose of Tambocor -- 2 x 100 mg -- to relieve an episode of A fib.
The famous 'pill in a pocket approach.'
The episode resolved after about 90 minutes.
I am scheduled to take my regular morning dose of Metroprolol -- 1 x 100 mg extended release.
Is it safe to mix the two medications?
It's a question I forgot to ask at the doctor's office.

Tambocor can be taken along with metoprolol safely. In fact, these two are co prescribed in patients with atrial fibrillation. You can continue them.
