Brief Answer:
It is safe during pregnancy but best if avoided during first 3 months..

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Zithrox is azithromycin. It is safe for consumption during pregnancy but it is best to avoid all the unnecessary medicines during the first three months of pregnancy. If there is no serious infection going on then it is best to avoid taking Zithrox after consulting her gynecologist.
Do ask her to take a healthy diet and plenty of fluids orally.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Normally, nausea subsides at the end of the first trimester.
Simple remedies will help her -
1. Eat home made, fresh, bland food. Avoid spicy, oily , greasy, fried or stale food. Avoid eating outside.
2. Instead of 2 big meals, have 5 - 6 spaced out meals.
3. Take lots of water, buttermilk, coconut water, nimbu pani etc,
4. She can take Sinate - OD tablet, this is needed just once a day, early in the morning, it will help her nausea.
5. She can take Pantop - D tablet twice a day to combat the acidity.
6. Before sleeping, take a glass of chilled milk at night.
7. Sleep with pillows propping up your head at night.
8. After any meal, avoid lying down or sleeping for atleast 2 hours.
9. Avoid stress or worrying, as it compounds the acidity.
10. She can add simple items like lemon, cinnamom, ketchup to your food instead of chillies and spices to alter the taste and improve the nausea.
In early pregnancy body needs preparation for nurturing the baby.
She should
- take green leafy vegetables at least once a day
- include salads in all meals
- nuts especially walnut and almonds are very good for baby
- drink plenty of water to avoid urine infections which are very common in pregnancy.
- milk at least twice a day
- fruits like apple, pear, plum and kiwi are very good.
In supplements she needs to add protein powder 1 table spoon in one glass of milk twice a day.
Folic acid tablet daily is very important.
Along with this she should take adequate rest of 8 hours at night and if possible 2 hours in day.
Hope my answer is helpful.
