Question : I am using Advair and prednisone for an asthma flair up. Can I
still take Zyrtec for allergy?

I am so sorry to hear about this asthma flare up that you have. Prednisone is also used in treating allergies. I would expect that you will not have allergy symptom sir taking prednisone already. However, if you continue to have symptoms, I will recommend you go ahead and take zyrtec. there is no contraindication in taking both drugs together. There is no added risk doing so, as well.

In all, only take Zyrtec is you have symptoms. Otherwise, prednisone is a good drug for this as well. It is safe to take them together.
