Question: Hi, my daughter is 15 months old and she refuses to take cow milk and instead ask for breast feed. She's is 8.5kgs and very lean. Please suggest me how to give her cow milk... can I dilute the milk with water .... If so in what composition.... or is it good if I introduce formula milk to her.... as I would join back my job.

Brief Answer:
do not dilute milk

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Most of the commercially available cow milk products should not be diluted with water when giving to a baby of your child's age.
Give cow's milk without dilution. Opt for standard cream or full cream milk.
If she doesn't like the taste add some cocoa like boost or bournvita to improve the taste so that the baby drinks it.
Try milk products like paneer curd lassi etc too.
You can try formula too if she doesn't like all milk products.
But it is not essential if she takes in cow's milk or milk products.
This way you can ensure that she gets enough intake of milk which is important for protein and calcium requirements.

Wishing your child good health.
