Brief Answer:
you can ingest but only under medical supervision

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

If your pain is troublesome and not improving with routine pain killers , oral marijuana is an alternative.

After initial euphoric effects it may cause sedation which may worsen your respiratory problem of COPD.

If you are stable in copd with above mentioned drugs, maijuana can be given for pain releief.

Better to take it under medical supervision initially. If any serious problem occurs, you can be treated immediately.

It is strict prescription medicine and you must take it with your doctor's prescription only.

In conclusion it is not completely safe but we need to check risk benefit ratio.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
