Is It Safe To Take Zolpidem ?

Question: I took 2 mg of clonazepam around 24 hours ago. I know it takes a long time before it leaves my system, so I’m wondering if it’s safe for me to take zolpidem now? Or is there a risk of respiratory depression?

I forgot to mention that I had also taken 2 mg of clonazepam around 24 hours prior to the first time. Which is also in my system now. So I took 2 mg clonazepam one night, 2 mg clonazepam the next night, and now, more than 24 hours later I’m wondering if it’s safe to take Zolpidem (10 mg)

Hi dear
What is your diagnosis and for which symptom you are taking these meds? Please let me know in detail . Well don’t take zolpidem as clonazepam takes 32 hours to clear from your body and this interaction is not studied well also . It can lead to CNS depression and also either one of them should be continue untill severity of your disease is not known. these are available only XXXXXXX opd prescription only not over the counter availabilty. For insomnia CBT therapy can work well. Meds only work symptomatically . Yoga sky breathing exercise and meditation also helps lot .spend more time with friends and family and smile more
