Brief Answer:
It is recommended to lower blood pressure before the procedure

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Sometimes, when the patient is anxious before the procedure, elevated blood pressure can be observed. In such cases we give the patient a medication to lower blood pressure and after start the procedure.
Do you take blood pressure medications? If yes, what do you take? What is your usual blood pressure? when the colonoscopy is planned?

Brief Answer:
Welcome back

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

You have enough time to control your blood pressure until Jul 22, but I think there will be a need to add another medication. I would advise you to take your medication for another 3 days, if you continue to have high blood pressure, contact your doctor to discuss the possibility to add another medication.

Wishing you good health
