Question: My name is XXXXXXX and I have Diabetes type 1 and my middle toe on my right foot is infected.

Is Keflex a good medication for this?

As you got infection of the toe .. you need to be very careful with proper regular dressing may be with soframycin ointment .... keep the part away from water ... use proper footware ...Moreover , you need to keep an eye on the sugar levels, we need to keep sugar levels under strict control to allow smooth and uneventful healing process..
