Question : There was oil on the floor I did see and slipped. I jammed my toe into the couch. Its slightly swollen and a lot hurts to bend but I can bend it. Its not discolored or bruised. Is it sprained or broken or fractured?

Hi there
Thanks for the query
It would be best to buddy strap the injured tie and the adjacent toe with pieces of micropore tape. If while walking on it, makes it very painful, then best to get it xrayed to rule out fracture.
If there is no deformity to the toe and no swelling then less likely fractured.
I hope I have answered your query.
