Question : I have been taking 75mg of clopidogrel since I had a clip procedure to repair a faulty mitral valve. When I cut or scratch I bleed excessively and have been to around center frequently. My doctor replaced thr drug with an 81mg (baby) asperin. Is this too risky?

Brief Answer:
No, it's fine to have

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Its a low dose of aspirin so it's ok to have. Slight increased risk of bleeding is there but it's advisable to continue. There is no excessive risk and to be panicked.
Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
