Question : Hi Doctor,

A 2.7 years old son. Recently, I have noticed that he has itching in his add that is an indication that he might have worms in his stomach.

Hence, it would be great if you could advice few medicines that would help him in getting rid of this problem.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards

Brief Answer:
You may give Albendazole for worms

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I am not getting what you mean by itching in 'ADD'.
But after going through the query I assume you are talking about the perianal itching, which is most likely due to worm.
For worms you may give deworming agent like Albendazole.
The dose for this age is 400 mg once at bed time with meals. You may repeat the dose after 15 days.

I suggest you to get this prescribed by a pediatrician after evaluation of the baby.
Maintain proper hygiene. Cut the overgrown nails of the child as the worms get transmitted through the contaminated hands.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards
