Brief Answer:
?? Suspecting prostate enlargement to be the cause at your age

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Blood in the semen is not always a cause for concern, and at your age if it does occur some times it should not really be something to spend too much time pondering or worrying over.

I shall go ahead and list some of the most common causes for a brown tinge or colour in the semen for men your age:

+Prostate enlargement/BPH: Very common at your age, and can cause some amount of pressure which can cause a mild browning tinge in the semen (most likely cause)
+High blood pressure
+Diabetes
+Rigorous masturbation: Also common in the elderly as they do not achieve climax as easily as they used to when younger
+Liver disease
+Hemorrhoids
+Prostate biopsy
+Trauma or injury to the testicles
and a few others.

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
