Your son will need a course of antibiotics like oflaxacin with metronidazole for 5 days for the infection, this is prescription only medicine, hence you will need a prescription to get that.
Small children get dehydrated very fast, so if the stool number is more than 10 times, then it is highly recommended to take him to a hospital and admit him right away.
