Question : Hello I was looking for a kidney specialist or someone who can confirm my symptoms I was fine today but as soon as I sat down or laid down all of a sudden I started to feel lower back pain on both sides now I am on my 3rd day of my cycle I was wondering if this could be a kidney concern I don't have any symptoms other than the lower back pain and suggestions

Lower back pain can occur due to several reasons and not just due to kidney pathology.

I do not see any specific reasons to suspect kidney problem with you as you do not have any other symptoms.

The first thing to be suspected is that it might be related to your cycle.

Secondly, intervertebral disc problems can commonly present with lower back pain which can be ruled out by an MRI.

However, a physical examination is required to properly comment. As you do not have any other symptoms, I do not think it is related to any kidney problem.

However, an ultrasound abdomen/pelvis can confirm.

Hi I had a pelvis and stomach ultrasound done aug 9 other than fybroids all. Was normal should I request additional one
