I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
Mesotherapy is effective in the treatment of hair loss, fat and cellulite reduction, reduction of scars and double chin and face and neck rejuvination.
It has shown results in all these conditions but the results are variable.
The effectiveness of these procedures vary from individual to individual.
They don't have any side effects apart from mild pain, redness and minor bruising during the procedure which disappears after sometime.

Its right that mesotherapy is not FDA approved but in my personal experience I haven't seen any serious side effects with its use.
At the most it can cause few temporary side effects like pain, discomfort, itching and redness but hair loss is a rare occurrence.
But it is still in experimental stages and its results are variable.
Not everyone undergoing mesotherapy experiences stoppage of hair fall.
