Is Missing Three Qlaira Birth Control Pills Decrease The Efficacy Of Its Effectiveness?
Question: Hi,
I have been taking Qlaira birth control pools for couple years now. Unfortunately now i forgot 3 pills in a roll (day 11-13). What should I do now? Should I take 2 pills at a time until I catch up to the normal routine or should I start a new package? Should I do the same if I forgot 4 pills? Please help. Thank you so much.

I would like to know some more details in this regard,to understand the situation and help you better.
When was your last menstrual period and the exact date of first day of bleeding ?
How regular are your cycles and what is the Duration?
Did you have unprotected intercourse during that time?
The chances of pregnancy are less in second week if you missed 3 pills in that time but ovum can stay alive up to 7 days,so if you had unprotected sex during that time then chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out.
Periods might come anytime within 7 days after missing pills,in that case you can wait for another couple of days to start the periods and you may start a new pack from the next cycle.
Till the time you should use condom as a alternative back up.
