Is My Fasting Blood Glucose Level Of 6.1 Normal?

Question: After testing my glucose levels after fasting since midnight is 6.1 is this ok

1. The normal fasting blood glucose is less than 5.6 mmol/L.

2. Pre diabetes range is considered if fasting blood glucose is 5.6 to 6.9 mmol/L

3. If fasting blood sugar is 7.0 mmol/L or more then it is diabetes.

4. Your fasting blood sugar is 6.1 mmol/ L and this means pre diabetes.

5. At your age, having a pre diabetes is not a serious concern but please get your blood sugar tested regularly and if you ever test in the diabetes range then you might require treatment. Please change your diet to maintain the blood sugar in lower range of pre diabetes.
