Brief Answer:
Continue nebulization. Give Mucolide

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Such symptoms in children of this age is usually caused due to certain viral infections which can last for 5-10 days. Please continue nebulization with Duolin and Budecort. Amongst the cough syrups, you may give Mucolide.

If the temperature is raised just give paracetamol.
However, if the child develops lethargy or wheezing, or temperature goes high and the cough or fever lasts for more than 7-10 days from the beginning, I would suggest you to visit a doctor and get the blood tested.

Hope that helps.

Brief Answer:
These provide symptomatic relief

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

The nebulization has two components - moisture and medicine. The water in it helps in diluting the cough and provides relief. The medicine reduces wheezing or respiratory distress. So after one or two days you can use normal saline 2ml instead. Continue this as long as the cough is present. Mucolyte can be given for 5 days or so.
