I dnt know wheather the condom is broken during intercoursen. I m on extreme fear from tat day wheather hiv infection wil occur. 20 days after my exposure I had a severe neck tension and hand pain. after two days I had a severe neck pain I went to a gen doctor he took an xray and ct scan and adviced its muscular pain and it can be caused by stress or strain. I took a hiv ic rapid test on 28 days after my exposure the result is negative. then I took a anti hiv 1 &2 ag ab combo test after 30days from exposure and the result is non reactive and negative. sometimes I had mild hand pain during these days. I took a oraquick mouth swab test at 42 days from my exposure and the result is negative. then I had a small red like pimple in my middle of side tongue and I went to a ent specialst the doctor advised me its a kind of mouth ulcer and it may be due to inflmation. I took a rapid serum hiv screening test at 50 days frm my exposure the result is negative. after 66 days frm my exposure I had cold and fever of 99.2 deg. I am on extreme fear and stressed.. are these symptoms of hiv infection?I wil again retest after 12 weeks. but nw I m worried how far are my results reliable? pls help me doctor .

Symptoms are nonspecific and not related to HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Welcome to health care magic. I have gone through the details and can make out your anxiety.

The chances of transmission of HIV by unprotected intercourse is 1/200 to 1/1000.Here it is protected intercourse. The chances is nil.
HIV is not transmitted by oral sex unless there are open bleeding wounds in both .Here it is protected. The chances are nil.Saliva does not transmit HIV unless it is blood tinged .Here the chances of transmission is nil.
So the possibility of HIV transmission is nil with given description.

The combo test is negative after 1 month is almost conclusive. The chances of positive results later is almost nil.Antibodies tests are repeatedly negative too.
You can get antibodies test after 12 weeks to have final conclusive results.
The symptoms are non specific. They are not related to HIV.It can be due to stress and respiratory contact with any person.
You can allay fears of HIV.

You can get back for any clarification.

Brief Answer:
HIV unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

The chances are similar to unprotected intercourse if condom is broken.
Anyway as HIV tests are negative, you need not worry.
The chances of other STDs is also nil. Some STDs like herpes simplex virus can be transmitted by skin to skin contact or kiss .The chances are higher if there were active lesions at the time of contact. Here unlikely as it would have come to your notice. Moreover symptoms usually appear within 2-3 weeks post exposure.

The pain symptom may be due to anxiety. It is not related to HIV.
You can allay fears of STDs including HIV.

You can get back for any clarification.
Thank you
