Question : I had unprotected anal sex once either in late january/early February and was tested at 27 weeks. the test was negative. can I trust this test result?
Brief Answer:
You can surely trust the result as it is more than 6 months post exposure.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Welcome to HCM.
You had unprotected anal sex once in january or febuary and your test result is negative after 27 weeks than you can definitely trust this result as it is more than 6 months post exposure and window period for HIV is also 15 days to 3 months. So you need not to worry at all. Just be relaxed and move ahead in life happily.
Thank You
