Question : Is it safe to have oral sex with a woman who has ovarian cysts...can there be an exchange of bacterium if a cyst ruptures? I seem to get a sore throat after oral sex with my partner and she has ovarian cysts

Ovarian cysts are sterile cysts. These do not contain any bacterium. Even if it ruptures while having sex, the partner will not be affected in any way. Getting a sore throat after an oral sex can be due to a local vaginal infection. This can be detected after a vaginal swab culture and can be treated with the help of antibiotics.
