Question : I took my meds double. I took 1mg of my Klonopin at 6am yesterday, then another 1mg at 8:30pm last night and just took 2mg at 4:45am. it is now 5am. so over 24hrs 4mg total

Please find my observations below.

1. Klonopin contains clonazepam and is prescribed for anxiety and similar conditions.

2. Klonopin is started at a low dose of 1.5 mg/day in 2 to 3 dicided doses and then slowly increased depending on the condition and response.

3. The maximum prescribed daily dose of klonopin is 20 mg. Therefore 4 mg in 24 hours will not cause any significant problems if you have been taking the medicine for some time. Please do not take overdose of any medicine.
