Question : Hi Doctor, I am 32 years old woman. Since last two days, am feeling pressure in my chest and pain in upper part of my back. I also had pain in left hand and left jaw. I went to hospital and got my ECG done. I have attached my ECG report. The nurse said that everything is normal. So I did not go to consult the Cardiologist. Please check and advise. Thanks, Afshan

Brief Answer:

You need Cardiac Evaluation

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

After going through your medical details I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that your symptoms are typical signs of angina which is pressure on charts with radiating pain to jaw, back and left hand which needs immediate medical attention.

In the very initial stage, your ECG can be normal but clinical relevance is a must with the ECG.

You need further cardiac evaluation as you already have a medical history of coronary artery disease in your Father and now you have typical symptoms.

Kindly get an ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY and Stress Test done and consult a Cardiologist personally for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Hi Doctor, Shall I wait for a day or two and then visit Cardiologist? Am doubting that the pain in my jaw can be due to ulcer in my mouth and I have big pimple like thing on my back which is paining. I have attached the report of that pimple. Thanks, Afshan

Yes, you can wait for two days, but during this period do not exert yourself too much till the cardiac evaluation is not done.
