Question : 40% of my stomach is in chest. I wondered if that amount of stomach is in chest is it more dangerous than small hernia. I plan to have surgery Doing tests now
Brief Answer:
No it is not dangerous more than a small hernia.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
No it is not. Stomach in the chest is usually not a dangerous problem. It may cause some digestive issues and symptoms. But as long as it does not cause breathing problems (severe shortness of breath) and is not twisted, does not become dangerous.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
