Question : Is pain in the side of the pelvis where there is a bit on an indentation, and is elicited by pressing inward with the fingers, likely to be the result of arthritis?

Brief Answer: It could be the result of arthritis. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for your query. From your description and considering your age, it could be the result of arthritis. Xray of the joint is required to see the arthritic changes. I would suggest getting this evaluated by an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
