Question : hi Dr. Thx for taking my question. I have had nagging pain upper left chest \ neck \ shoulder past 8 mo. xrays of clavical not remarkable. chest xray negative. Pain started in neck area during sports, so felt like a pull, but pain seems to transfer from neck into shoulder breast area over time, and even up into face left side. maybe related to disc disease? ( which I have had diagnosed ). also , left pec seems to be wasting too...any ideas? I will see a ENT soon - THX XXXX
Brief Answer:
Neurologist and Spine surgeon
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
What about senses over these areas? Are you able to feel touch, pain and temperature? If you see wasting around pectoralis, it mainly talks about Lower motor neuron disease at the cervical spine level.
Have you seen a Neurologist and Spine surgeon yet before ENT ?
If not please do it now.

Thank you. I am able to feel pain touch and heat. I have minor numbness in the pectoral area, and left side of face, sinuses. ( There may or may not be muscle loss - hard to tell as this side is normally less developed as my right side.)
I will ask to see Neurologist. ps I had a CT scan in last 2 mo. to rule out stroke after I had vision issues. The attending Dr. did not see anything unusual.
Should I expect another CT scan or Xray of cervical spine?

Brief Answer:
CT scan
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The part of the body we should be looking into is spine. The previous CT would not help. You may need another CT scan or Xray of the spine.
