Question : WILL PHYSICAL THERAPY HELP TO LESSEN FIBROMYALGIA PAIN IN NECK AND SHOULDERS? WHAT IS THE USUAL TREATMENT? (I'm a 79 yr old female with osteoporosis) K.J.

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Neck and shoulder pain at this age in presence of osteoporosis can be due to cervical spondylosis.
You should get a mri of cervical region.
Fibromyalgia responds to physiotherapy.
Drugs like Sertraline, duloxetine, pregabalin, gabapentin is useful.
Milnacipran can be used too.
