                                            Question : My nephew aged 5 years is diagonised with early symptom of dengue with platelet count of 185,000 count. Doctor has advised to take fruits (kiwi and papaya) with paracetamol medicine. Would you please provide your expertise advise - Thanks XXXX XXXXXXX

You have not to worry much as his platelet count is within normal limit.Give him paracetamol 250 mg thrice daily or as par required,do not give ibuprofen,papaya and kiwi fruits are good,you can give him Tulsi as well .Bed rest is advise for 5-7 days.
