Is Pregnancy Immediately After Abortion Possible?
Question: Good morning
My girlfriend was 6 weeks pregnand and did an abortion with the pill, 2 days after she started to bleed and she took the pregnancy test and came out negative, I was with her when she did it.
She had a check up 2 weeks after and test came out negative again. 1 month after she got her normal period. We never had sex again and Now she is telling me that she went for another check up and test came out possitive.
She said she was told by the doctor that she had 2 babies in separete bags and one died and that is why test came out negative the first time and even got her normal period.
Is this possible? We are not longer together and it sounds very extrange to me.
I am really concern.

There are 2 possibilities in my opinion:
+The current test is reporting a positive result (i.e. if she is speaking the truth) because of the hormones that are remaining from the previous pregnancy, which means she is not pregnant.
But if a doctor has actually examined her using an ultrasound (i.e. again if she is speaking the truth), then this could be a rare case. But if she just spoke to a doctor and said she saw a positive pregnancy test result, then may be the doctor would have just casually said that it is possible sometimes when there are 2 gestational sacs (not necessarily meaning that that is in fact the case)
or
+She is lying about the whole thing, possibly just to get you back
In my opinion, you should just be supportive to her and talk to her with love and care. Visit her and spend time with her, and may be after a day or 2, just bring it up that you have taken a doctors appointment with a doctor that you know and just wanted to make sure that the baby is safe and take her along.
Make sure you actually make a doctors appointment and speak to a doctor about your case and fix an ultrasound examination. This ultrasound can prove the pregnancy, or the facade. Also notice her behaviour once you tell her that you have fixed the appointment. Until then, make sure you are very kind, patient and loving towards her, okay?

So it is possible that the first 2 test came out negative and then a 3rd one positive because the hormones remaining on her body?
On the other hand is it possible to have 2 babies and just lose one due to the pill and the other one to continue alive?
If that is the case can the baby and/or her have any complications?

Yes it is. It is a result of fluctuation of hormones, which is common during pregnancy (or at least the body is still getting used to the loss of pregnancy).
I have never heard of such a case, and so my answer is No. The pill prevents fertilisation completely and also the latter processes like implantation. When the pill was taken, it was so close to the sexual act that there would have been no chance for a sac or baby itself to be formed. So there is no chance for one baby and sac to get removed, and the other to remain, this is preposterous.
It is not possible sir, and even if we assume it is, then the live baby will not have any complications for sure.
