Is Pregnancy Possible After A Miscarriage During Late 40's?

default
Posted on Wed, 5 Jul 2017
Question: It took me 5 years to conceive naturally. I am 41 years of age.
Unfortunately I went to my 12 week scan to find out the baby died at 6 weeks.
I miscarried naturally a few days later.
I am worried sick this will happen again, I can't be investigated as this is my first pregnancy.
Do you think this will happen again they called it a delayed miscarriage.
I am ready to try again just scared this will happen again.
I am taking Folic Acid daily 5mg

Possible

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

Sorry to know you miscarried. It is an unfortunate event.

This might repeat in next pregnancy though not necessarily. There is a small possibility.

Keep trying for pregnancy.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Brief Answer:
I remember you

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I remember very well about our earlier discussions over many years.

You are overweight and struggled to lose weight for a while. I remember you are from XXXXXXX if I am right.

I believe you can definitely conceive naturally again. Start aspirin tablets next time.
