Is Pregnancy Possible After Recovering From An Ectopic Failed Pregnancy?

yes she can have normal delivery
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Once ectopic pregnancy has occured it does not mean she will have it again.
Ectopic pregnancy occurs if she was taking some oral contraceptive or there was presence of some intra uterine device which prevents implantation in uterus but causes it to occur in tube as must have happened with her previously.
If she is taking any kind of contraceptive pill or any kind first step is to stop taking it.
She can try to conceive normally and as soon as pregnancy is suspected immediate ultrasound should be done to see the site of implantation.
If it is in the uterus which is normal then it can still proceed normally.
But if it is not in uterus then again it could be ectopic.
If its ectopic then complications can be like previous one.
But if it normal one as in inside the uterus then it will lead to normal one and have the normal risk factors as just any other normal pregnancy.
At this point i can advice you that she can try for normal pregnancy, but to get ultrasound as early as possible to rule out presence of ectopic pregnancy.
Once it's confirmed that its nornal pregnancy, regular follow up with her gynecologist will suffice.
I hope i have answered your query well.
If you have any more query kindly write back to me will be happy to answer them.
Thank you

Also wanted to know any medication / diet to increase body weight. she is 34 years old but her weight is 48 kg.
yes it does help if its insufficient.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for following up with me.
Progesterone hormone is required for adequate uterine maturation to keep it healthy for foetal development.
Causes for low levels are multiple but more than that the correction is important to keep the pregnancy intact and proceed further.
There are medicines which contain progesterone like dydrogesterone which are used in women with low levels of progesterone during pregnancy. But it should be prescribed by a gynaecologist under supervision only.
Now for the query regarding weight gain, though 48kgs is OK for female, she will gain weight during pregnancy. If she already delivered a baby before, this weight wont be a problem now.
Still its better to avoid unnecessary medications during pregnancy other than the iron, folic acid, calcium, multivitamin supplements. Proper diet, moderate exercise and regular follow up with doctor is more than sufficient to have a healthy pregnancy.
I hope this answers your query well.
If you have any more questions kindly ask them.
Thank you.
