Brief Answer:
risk of pregnancy is very remote

Detailed Answer:
Dear member,
Thanks for writing.
Your question is valid as your tubes and ovaries are intact.
But pregnancy cannot occur due to the following reasons.
1.the uterus is required for the sperms to travel from the cervical canal to the ovary.
2.the cervix is closed above.
3.The tubal end where the uterus was detached is blocked I.e the cornual end is blocked.
So the risk of pregnancy is absent.
Hope this was helpful
Thanks

Thank you very much. I had a supracervical abdominal hyster (not a sub) :) This eases my mind, however, I have read some articles online (as well as some info on blogs) that atopic pregnancy can still occur. I assume this is rare? My partner and I will no longer use condoms as birth control if pregnancy will not occur?

Brief Answer:
answer as detailed below

Detailed Answer:
Dear member,
Thanks for writing back.
The risk of pregnancy is based on the fact that the sperms can travel through the cervix and enter the tubes.
In cases of say permanent tubal sterilization when tubes are cut and placed wide apart still occasionally pregnancy occur due to rejoining of the tubes. But further contraception is not recommend just on the basis of failure rate which is about one in a 1000 cases.
In your case where the uterus is absent and tubes are blocked the chance of sperms swimming into the cervical canal and then entering tubes to cause ectopic pregnancy is rare.
Thus based on some rare cases mentioned in internet I wouldn't recommend contraception as it's not standard protocol.
Using condoms not only protects from pregnancy but also from vaginal infections.
So you can continue with condoms use but for protection against infection.
Thanks
