Question : Hi, my period finished on Tuesday 14th, I had unprotected sex same night. I then took Postinor 2 the next day in the evening. Had unprotected sex again on Thursday 16th at about 1am and boyfriend came inside me. I took another Postinor 2 on Saturday morning. Saturday evening I had unprotected sex again and he came inside me too. Please can I get pregnant ? And should I take the 3rd set of Postinor 2? Urgent response please. Thanks a lot

No need to take additional Postinor-2 pill.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for writing to us.

1) If your previous cycle was quite regular (28 to 30 days), then you mostly did unprotected sex in safe period as per your last period date. Your chance of pregnancy is extremely RARE.

2) You took Postinor-2 pill within 24 to 48 hrs in last two occasion and last pill was on the Saturday morning. Theoretically, it will protect for next 72 hrs also.

In my opinion, you don't require additional Postinor-2 pill in this circumstance if you don't want to involve in further round of intercourse. You will get withdrawal bleeding within 3 to 5 days due to effect of the pill. It is quite common phenomena.
