Brief Answer:
There is no need for concern.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

Depo shot is very effective ( > 99%) contraceptive. Pregnancy due to method failure is rare. So there is no need for concern. Depo shot is known to cause irregular periods. It is it's well known side effect.

But make sure that she takes her next Depo shot at the right time.

I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns, do write to me.

Best wishes,
