Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Unwanted-72?

Question: Dear doctor
Good afternoon
I have sex with my wife and then I gave her unwanted 72 pills.she took this pills second time. She eat unwanted 72 pills 2 times in 35 days.after that she starts red colour blood continued 12days.I am very scared because I listen if a woman eat unwanted72 2times in a month she can not pregnant in future.plz doctor help me and tell me she will pregnant in future?

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) Irregular or repeated intake of unwanted-72 may create irregular cycle or bleeding for long time due to hormonal imbalance.

2) I can suggest her to take Tranexamic acid group of drug to arrest bleeding. It should be taken 500 mg twice daily for 3 days. Maintain genital hygiene.

3) There is NO problem in future pregnancy. However, it shouldn't be used more frequently because it will make improper ovulation. Instead, she can use regular contraceptive pill.

1. How many pills suitable in a month?
2. Can my wife takes unwanted 72 pills in future? If she takes more pills its harmful or not?

1) Only 1-2 pill are suitable in a month as these are HIGH dose pills.

2) Yes, she can take those pills in future. However, I suggest her to take REGULAR contraceptive pill. It will give highest protection and regular cycle.

There will be NO problem if bleeding is STOPPED by medicine. Heavy or continuous bleeding makes her more anemic if it is not stopped.
