Question: Hi am 25 years old girl just married we had unprotected sex on 7th day of my period and immediately took an i-pill since we dnt want to be pregnant soon now after 5 days it's bleeding little again is it how the i-pill works are we safe n sure that I won't get pregnant... Please help
Brief Answer:
you are not pregnant.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
The fact that you have got the withdrawal bleeding after 5 days of taking the ipill , which is as expected, it ensures that you are not pregnant at all and the endometrium has been shed , eliminating any chances of conception. Now with the bleed, you start a fresh cycle and the next menses would be a month later hence , and may be delayed by a week to 10 days as a probable side effect of ipill intake.
Wishing you good health,
Regards

Yes, if you don't get into another sexual act until next menses then if your next menses get delayed , then its not pregnancy, but the delay is ipill induced.
