Question: Hi I am 48 have have just started perimenopause really want a baby can I take clomid have missed 1 period doing ovulation tests each day which said I was ovulating. It's making me feel depressed and I'll. Please help XXXXXXX

Unfortunately it is difficult to conceive naturally or even with IVF at this age.

I suggest you please get serum FSH and AMH done to check your ovarian reserve.

Hi my altrasound scan came back as being satisfactory I asked about the overies count ect and he said did not know about this. Also said could I have the amh test and did not know about that either. And seemed to be a little annoyed that I new something he did not. As he has not heard about it.or just saying that. Said refere me to fatility clinic perhaps they do it there
