Question : I am in the process of menopause and I have started to have sore breasts and my nipple are becoming erect and hurt at times...is this normal?

Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
In my opinion you should do a pregnancy test in case you have even a slight doubt of pregnancy as in peri menopausal stage if is common to mistake missed periods with menopause.
If pregnancy test is negative then nothing to worry as breast tenderness and abdominal bloating are common in first few years of menopause.
