Question : hi....my girlfriend and i had a sexual encounter recently which involved genital rubbing for a few seconds(20 seconds may be....there was no penetration or ejaculation... it is the pre cum we are worried about....her periods started on nov 1 and we had this encounter on nov 17... i have been reading some blogs.... one says you can get pregnant and others say you should have penetration for the pregnancy to take place....and her periods arent regular...kindly tell if pregnancy could happen? she was not on any type of contraceptive we are worried...thank you!

Hello XXXX, welcome to health Care Magic Forum. Thank for writing to us with your health query. The chances of getting pregnant arevery very unlikely as there was no insertion of penis in the vagina . Chances of getting pregnant with discharge of semen in vagina is about 20% when done in fertile period. Since in your case there was no oenetration of vagina thrre are no chances of pregnancy.
