Question : Hello Doctor I was supposed to get my periods last week and haven't got till date. I was on diet and exercise. I was otherwise leading a sedentary life. I had sex with partner but just inserted the penis for few seconds and took out well before ejaculation. kindly help.

Delayed period can be due to pregnancy, stress or hormonal disturbance.
I will suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done.
If negative, then the periods are likely to be delayed due to exercise and stress.
If there are no periods in next 1-2 weeks, then you should get your thyroid and prolactin levels done to rule out any hormonal disturbance.

Dear Doctor, can taking meprate 10 mg help. two more questions..can percum cause pregnancy. if at all i got pregnant what are the ways to avoid it as my family conditions are not that conducive of bearing a child .
