Question : I had unprotected sex 5 days after my menstrual period and practiced the withdrawal method but kinda having doubts as there were some drops of semen out of my Virgina after I had sex. Today makes it the third day and wondering if I can take postinor2 since its advisable to be taken 72 hours after sexual intercourse. Pls I need your advice

                                    Brief Answer:
No chance of pegnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns about possibility of pregnancy.
First 8 days of period are safe days where there is no possibility of pregnancy as ovulation would not have occurred.
In your case there is absolutely no chance of pregnancy. as you have had sex in safe period and also practiced withdrawal method.
There is no need to take any pills like postinor 2.

Do you mean first 8 days after my period have stopped are safe days?
And just trying to rephrase back on the day, I think I did within 6 or 7 day after my period have stopped, Is this still safe?
Do I need to be worried or consigned of anything?

                                    Brief Answer:
Start of menses is day 1
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I means first 8 days of periods are safe days as there is no egg release that time.
This is calculated as starting as menses as day1. Please calculate starting of menses as day 1 and let me know.
Even sex up to 10 days from day of starting periods is safe.
Regards

Please do pardon my inquisitiveness, actually I am checking in on this for my fiancee as she's always scared of the whole sex thing. From her calculation she said her menstrual period started on the 23 of September and stopped on the 28 of September which we had unprotected sex on the 4th of October which is about 5 days after her menstrual period and practiced the withdrawal method but kinda having doubts as there were some drops of semen coming out of her Virgina after we had sex. Today makes it the third day and wondering if she's still within the safe period or can she take Postinor2 since the 72 hours has not elapsed
Awaits your quick response.
Thanks
