Brief Answer:
Need titration of dose

Detailed Answer:
TSH should also be Normal for proper treatment titration and thus she needs to increase the dose to have a healthy pregnancy 0.2 is not very less though which also improves in pregnancy so she can start trying for pregnancy now after titration of dose
Don't worry about periods as they will be fine soon after proper titration and frankly not a measure of thyroid issues in short term

Thank You, she sent an email to her doctor treating Thyroid checking for dosage. But she is worried of her periods. its 52 days without periods which is for the first time in her life. would this be due to Thyroid or any check up or treatment is required.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to thyroid

Detailed Answer:
It can be due to thyroid abnormalities but nothing conclusive can be said and she can have irregular periods in future as well despite of normal thyroid so just aim for normal TSH and then see the pattern of periods

Meet your gynaecologist

Detailed Answer:
My heartiest congratulations to you.
Yes you need to meet your gynaecologist and get other routine blood tests
Thyroid hormone levels fluctuation is common in pregnancy so don't get hassled
I have done a lot of research on thyroid and will be happy to help in case you have any other question related to it.
Wish you a healthy pregnancy ahead

Thank You very much :) We have done the scanning and heartbeat and everything is normal so far.

Yes, I am hearing mix feedback from the doctors. carbimazole tablet which she is taking for Thyroid is a D - category tablet which may affect the growth or can lead to birth defects, which I am concerned about. Will this be okay with this medicine ? Or this is something which we should be concerned about.

Brief Answer:
Discontinue carbimazole

Detailed Answer:
Yes sir carbimazolr is discontinued and propylthiouracil is continually given to maintain normal thyroid hormone levels
So regular intake of medicines and periodic TSH measurements is needed in whole pregnancy
Take care
