Question: Hi Good morning,
My fiance taking regesterone tablet since 4-5days for delaying her periods. Yesterday we had intercourse but it was unprotected. Now we are in fear that she will get pregnant or not.? Can she will I-pill so she can avoid pregnancy?
Plz help its urgent as we don't want baby before marriage

The probabilities of pregnancy have always been there with unprotected sex.

Regesterone containing norethisterone and usually used for postponement of the cycle.

It is not standard treatment for emergency contraception.

There are pills available in the market as emergency pills to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex.

Hence she should go for emergency pills as early as possible, because it can be effective upto 72 hrs.

She should wait and watch for withdrawal bleeding after 3-4 days. Yes, she can take the Ipill.
